NBA 2K14 PS4 graphics with Kobe Bryant Vs Lebron James

Earlier on this week we gave you a first look at how Lebron James looked, using a PS4 screenshot vs the same model on PS3 for the upcoming NBA 2K14 game. Now we have something even better for you as 2K Games have released a new trailer, showcasing footage that has been shot running directly on the PS4 hardware in-game.

NBA 2K14 is one of the most highly anticipated launch games to be arriving on both PS4 and Xbox One, and you only need to take a look at the graphics quality compared to current-gen to see why. If you want, you can now buy the game on PS3, Xbox 360 or PC, but those looking for a console version may want to wait for next-gen instead.

2K Games have made a big point in saying that the footage included below, is running directly on the PS4 hardware. It’s thought to be pure gameplay, taken from various camera angles in the game and showing off some of the star players like Kobe Bryant and cover star Lebron James.

Even Kobe looks good.

The graphics look absolutely mesmerizing and it looks like basketball fans are in for a massive treat when the game is out. The facial quality on some of the players is outstanding and it will be interesting to see what the actual gameplay is like when playing, rather than these close-ups that we’re seeing – although nice.

2K Games are calling this their ‘OMG trailer’, but are you pleasantly shocked by the level of graphics seen on the PS4 or not? We had some gamers who were not very impressed by the PS4 Lebron screenshot shown here, but we thought it was an excellent step up.

Is NBA 2K14 one of your launch purchases or do you have your eye on something else?
