Navigon Updates MobileNavigator App for Android: List of Changes

We have some interesting news now for those of you that own an Android device and have the MobileNavigator application downloaded, as we’ve just heard that NAVIGON has recently updated its popular navigation app. The update provides users with a number of new features and enhancements.

According to a recent article by Dusan over at, the updated MobIleNavigator app now features support for Android 3.0 Honeycomb tablets, as well as a new Clever Parking feature, which displays a ‘P’ icon in the app’s map view when users are approaching their destination.

By tapping the ‘P’ icon, drivers will be able to view a list of parking options that are available nearby. It will also provide users with information on the distance. Another great new feature is Weather Live, which displays real-time weather updates such as weather conditions and temperature.

The update also features a destination information screen, which provides a summary of important information for specific destinations including places to stay, eat, shop or even purchase gas. Enhancements include manual map zoom, auto-off GPS and display of street names in 3D mode.
