National Unfriend Day: Trimming Facebook Fat

Today is National Unfriend Day, which is a day that Facebook users are asked to trim the fat, which means getting rid of those friends you no longer need. There are some users who have hundreds if not thousands of friends on the Social network, but how can you talk to them all?

Jimmy Kimmel was the one who suggested National Unfriend Day, as he knows that we have a number of friends on Facebook that we do not know or do not care about. So sign in people, it is time to start trimming that fat, if I were you I would be ruthless.

You might have had friends on Facebook that you used to see or talk to a lot, but over time might have fell out with them, so why do you feel the need to keep them on as friends? We all know that we befriend people who are friends of a friend of a friend, and that is something that I cannot understand.

My wife and most of my family have Facebook, but I refuse to signup. I just believe that there are those on there are out to cause arguments. So how can you call those people friends — get rid of them today.

Have you got rid of any Facebook friends, how many did you trim off?
