MWC 2010: Samsung i8520 Beam features built-in projector

Ok, so you were pretty impressed when you heard about the Samsung Wave, right? Well, you might be even more impressed when you have finished reading about another handset they are planning to release this year.

As reported from BGR, this handset will be known as the Samsung i8520 Beam (Previously Halo) and it packs a built-in DLP Pico projector, amongst other impressive multimedia specs.

The Beam will be equipped with a 3.7-inch WVGA ”Super” AMOLED display and also features an 8 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash, WiFi, aGPS, 16GB internal memory, 512MB ROM and 384MB of RAM.

Another highly impressive stat about the Beam, is that it is thought to be able to withstand almost 8 hours of 3G talktime thanks to the 1800 mAH battery.

Oh, did we mention that the Samsung Beam will also be running on Android OS 2.1? Yeah, we thought you’d like that.
