MWC 2010: Puma Phone – Solar-powered device releases soon

Well, how many of you saw this coming out of MWC 2010? Puma, the famous sportsband has teamed up with Mobile company Sagem to offer the Puma Phone – a compact handset which can recharge itself using solar power.

As reported from The Telegraph, the stylish looking 2.8-inch handset has a touchscreen display and also packs a 3.2 Megapixel camera.

This is obviously aimed at athletes out there, as the Puma phone has a special operating system which has been developed by themselves and Sagem.

It also features a pedometer, stopwatch and GPS tracker – allowing you to keep track of all your vital stats while out on the move.

It will be available in April in Europe. Check out the huge solar panel on the back of the phone through the link.
