MW3, Twitter reveals COD4 guns, new game modes and more

Today we have more details regarding Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 thanks to a tweets which have recently tweeted by Inifinity Ward’s Creative Strategist Robert Bowling, aka FourZeroTwo, some of the news is just reconfirmation of what we already thought, whilst some of the information may cause quite a stir.

If you are wondering what weaponry will be at your disposal we can confirm that two COD4 guns will be making a return, these are the MP5 and the G36c, neither of these guns showed up in Modern Warfare 2, therefore we expect some people to be extremely happy to hear this news – we wonder whether there will be any major changes made to these guns, would you change anything? Something else which we can confirm is that claymores will be available in MW3, this is not a shock.

When Black Ops arrived many were happy to hear that you could dive to prone, aka dolphin dive, today we can confirm that this will not be possible in MW3. This news was revealed by this tweet, we are sure that this will be unpopular with some of our readers as it is a realistic feature which helps you find cover quickly, are you disappointed by this news?

If you checked out the tweet mentioned in the last paragraph you will clearly see that Modern Warfare 3 will feature new game modes in terms of multiplayer, currently FourZeroTwo can’t talk about specifics, therefore we will have to keep you posted as we hear more. We wonder what Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games have up their sleeves here as game modes have been quite repetitive in previous CoD games – we would love to hear of your ideas on this matter, we like the idea of a last-man standing mode which punishes camping, how about you?

As always we would love to hear your ideas on all of the matters discussed in this post, feel free to get inventive in the comments section below.
