MW3 best UK price, where to get for less

Later tonight the time that millions of gamers have been waiting for finally arrives with the launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. We have already seen the launch of some big titles in recent weeks such as FIFA 12 and Battlefield 3, but this could be the biggest launch of the year. Today we are looking at MW3 best UK price, and where to get for less.

Most of you will probably be hitting the supermarkets or other retailers, but first up here are some online prices for the game. Online retailer Play.com has MW3 listed for £42.89 including delivery, while rival Amazon are cheaper at £39.87 with delivery. Another online store Zavvi will sell you Modern Warfare 3 for £42.85.

If you have put down your £5 deposit at Tesco when you picked up your copy of Battlefield 3, the latest Call of Duty title can be yours for £33. Otherwise you can get the game for £25 if you purchase various Xbox LIVE or PSN cards starting at £16.99 or buying the game on its own it costs £38.91. If you get your groceries out of Sainsbury’s and spend £30 or more MW3 will cost you only £28.99 for both PS3 and Xbox 360 versions, otherwise they have it listed for £38.99.

Asda don’t have any deals where you have to purchase something else to get the game cheaper, so £38.97 will bag you the game. GAME are selling MW3 online for £44.99 and are opening up many stores at midnight for the games launch, and you can find out what stores are opening here. Again there don’t seem any cheap deals like we have seen in previous years for big game releases.

Update: If you go to HMV and trade in Battlefield 3 or Goldeneye 007: Reloaded MW3 can be yours for £9.99.
