Music Idol iPhone App: Reinvents American Idol experience for social media

Fans of American Idol can now get an app that turns the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad into an instant recording studio. Music Idol 1.1 totally reinvents fans enjoyment of American Idol, but making into a social media experience.

Developed by California based Joy Entertainment LLC the app allows users to be a sharp tongued judge like Mr. Cowell, or a singing sensation like American Idol winner — Lee DeWyze -. Users can just press a button and they as the Idol have just recorded a “tune” that is shared across social media platforms like Twitter, MySpace, and Facebook.

Users are able to record twenty second tunes and then upload them to the apps searchable and growing database, these can also be added to their Facebook account or fan page. There is even a Top 25 idol chart, with the top idols winning a $10 iTunes gift card weekly.

Music Idol 1.1 is on the App Store for only $0.99. iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch required with OS 3.0 or later.
