Multiplayer: Modern Warfare 2 vs. Battlefield Bad Company 2

In November the highly anticipated Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was released, the game rapidly set a lot of sales records and was an instant success.

The multi-platform game was well received as it offered a lot for the gamer, a well written campaign plot, solo and two player spec ops and the ever popular online mode.

If you are anything like me you probably went straight online and never looked back, however as time has gone on the game has been exploited in many ways, the first major glitch we saw was the Javelin glitch, since then there have been a lot of other glitches and hacks such as the negative XP glitch and the extremely frustrating infinite care package glitch.

These glitches have frustrated a lot of gamers so much so that they are now looking for an alternative game (me included), perhaps the upcoming Battlefield: Bad Company 2 could fill this void.

When talking about Battlefield: Bad Company 2 the games executive producer had this to say “I certainly respect our colleagues and they have made a first-class title on the legs, but I think we simply have a better, richer multiplayer experience. Exactly what we wanted to achieve and I believe we succeeded in that, too.”

I can’t help thinking that this is pretty clever marketing, as it is clear that the multiplayer experience that is offered by Modern Warfare 2 is its biggest downfall, for further details check out PushSquare.

Do you think that Battlefield Bad Company 2’s ‘multiplayer experience’ will be ‘richer’ than Modern Warfare 2’s?
