mTrip Travel Guide for iPhone: Five new city guides added

We have spoke about the great mTrip travel guides for the iPhone before, and now the Montreal based developer has just added five more city guides to their list of destinations covered.Guides are available for the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.

The latest cities to be added include Washington, Moscow, Vienna, Madrid and Venice. These new destinations are added to the nine US and European destinations which have been available since the guides were first launched.

The other cities available include New York, Chicago, San Francisco, London, Amsterdam, Berlin, Barcelona, Rome and Paris. The app gives users the option of automatic and customized trip itineraries. Users can locate themselves and points of interest on a map, and get directions to and from places of interest.

The guides are in augmented reality, and there is the option of sharing postcards via Facebook and email. No roaming fees will be charged as the guides are 100% percent offline except sharing and updates. All future updates to the individual guides are free of charge, and new destinations are planned to be rolled out.
