MSI Unleashes New R6950 Twin Frozr III Power Edition Video Card

If the very best performance from your hardware is what you expect then that’s what you’ll get with MSI’s latest version of the AMD Radeon HD 6950, the new R6950 Twin Frozr III Power Edition video card.

This new edition features a new unique cooling system that allows the card to run faster, optimizing performance, in fact it promises a 21% improvement from the AMD version in performance. This is because of better overclocking thanks to the cooling solution.

As the article from Shane McGlaun at Slashgear explains, the new edition video card uses a twin fan cooling system with the MSI Propeller Blade technology fans which are 21% more efficient in producing airflow than a regular fan blade design is.

As the exclusive technology fans keep the GPU 11 degrees cooler than it was and aids the 21% increase in performance, they also help reduce noise output with the new design. The card comes with 2GB of GDDR5 RAM plus all the original features of the HD 6950.

More details can be found at MSI or you can check out the link above. What do you think of the upgraded version? Will you be getting the R6950 Twin Frozr III? Let us know your thoughts.
