If you are looking for a tablet device with a 10 inch display, WiFi and 3G connectivity you will probably think that Apple’s iPad is your only option, however this should all change in Q3 2010 when MSI release their Slatebook.

The Slatebook is a Windows 7-based tablet which features some impressive specifications, such as multi-touch support, USB ports and a HDMI port. Perhaps most impressively it will feature Intel’s Zxxx range of processors, these Atom chips run at around 2.00GHz, which should offer pretty decent performance and efficiency.

Other rumors have suggest a sub $500 retail price, which compared to the cheapest 3G capable iPad ($629.00) is extremely cheap.
