Motorola Motoroi: Android Smartphone – Specs, Carrier Details and More

These days Motorola seem to be settings standards for Android-based smartphones, we are now hearing that a new Motorola smartphone called the Motoroi will soon be coming to the U.S. carrier Cincinnati Bell.

The handset looks pretty promising, it combines Google Android (2.1 apparently) with a 3.7 inch touchscreen display, an 8 megapixel camera, 600MHz processor and HDMI-out, other specs have not been revealed however these alone seem pretty impressive for a mid-high-end smartphone.

Other carrier details are not yet set-in-stone, a UK release is expected, however it is unclear which company or companies will offer it. There is also speculation pointing towards a major U.S. carrier offering the Motoroi, however this is all unconfirmed and probably relies heavily on it’s success with Cincinnati Bell.

One thing that we know nothing about is pricing, to be competitive in the market it needs to be cheaper than high-end Motorola handsets, currently the Droid is offered for $199 as part of a two-year deal with Verizon, therefore you would think that the Motoroi will have to be around $129.99 – $169.99 on a similar agreement.
