It looks like the Motorola Droid Xtreme (formally Shadow) is definitely on the way to Verizon soon, as we have news on the Motorola Milestone XT720 – a new device on it’s way to Europe.
As reported from Pocket-Lint, the Milestone XT720 looks very similar to the Droid Xtreme handset, which still hasn’t been officially unveiled by either Motorola or Verizon yet.
However, the EU version has been announced and unlike the previous Milestone, this one comes without a physical keyboard. Other features of the device include an 8 megapixel camera with Xenon Flash, 10x digital zoom and HD video recording. It looks like this will come with Android 2.1, with an update to Android 2.2 to follow after release.
You’ll also get the usuals in WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth, while you’ll also get other great stuff such as Flash 10 support, HDMI out port and a promising 9 hours of battery life according to Motorola.
It is due out at the end of June, head over to Pocket-Lint for some great hands-on photos. Let us know your thoughts on the new Milestone from Motorola. We have a feeling this device will be very popular in the UK.
