With the Motorola Droid X launching just last week and the upcoming Motorola Droid 2 due to land early next month, Verizon customers have a hard decision choosing which handset is better out of the two.
Hardware specs are largely the same on both handsets, but there a few notable differences which may end up being the deciding factor for you.
Do you choose the device with the biggest display screen – i.e the Droid X with a 4.3-inch display compared to the Droid 2’s 3.7-inch, or do you go with the Motorola Droid 2 with a physical slide-out QWERTY keyboard.
Then there is the Android Operating system. Motorola and Verizon have confirmed that the Droid X will be upgraded to Android 2.2 Froyo sometime this Summer, while the Motorola Droid 2 is set to ship with Froyo – as we learned yesterday.
Considering that the Droid X is apparently suffering from stock issues, and the Motorola Droid 2 is rumored to be available from August 12th, both handsets may end up releasing in conjunction with each other.
Have you already made your mind up between the Droid X or Droid 2? Let us know which one you prefer by voting in our poll below.
