We have yet more twists and turns on the Motorola Droid Xtreme handset now, as some new details have emerged – leading to the possibility that the handset could be named as the Droid X.
As reported from Phandroid, this will be the third different name that the handset has been associated with, after the Motorola Shadow, Droid Xtreme and now just Droid ‘X’.
Thats not all either, we have a list of confirmed specs so far for the device. These include a 4.3-inch display with 854×480 resolution, a OMAP 3630 with PowerVR SGX530 GPU, 8 megapixel camera with dual LED flash, HD Video Recording (720p), front-facing camera (Video calling??), HDMI-out and Android 2.1 OS.
As you can see from above, we are not sure about memory capabilities for the handset yet, but we’ll let you know soon as we hear more.
What are your thoughts on the name – do you like Droid X or not?
