Following on from our article yesterday, which informed you about display screen problems for the recently released Motorola Droid X on Verizon, we now have a statement from Verizon for you to read.
As reported from Engadget, both Motorola and Verizon have acknowleged the problem and have some important information for those affected. According to Verizon’s statement, Motorola has fixed up the issue, so there is no reason for any shipping delays as a result of this.
Here is part of their statement: “Verizon Wireless and Motorola are aware of a very small number of DROID X units that have experienced a flickering or banding display.”
For those who are still witnessing a defective screen issue, you are advised to visit a Motorola or Verizon customer support center. Let us know your thoughts on this.
