Motorola DROID: Verizon 2.1 Android update manually

Do you have the DROID 2.1 update on Verizon yet? If you’re still waiting, we have some good news for you, as we’ve found a guide which shows you how to install the update manually.

As MobileBurn points out, the update is gradually rolling out to Verizon customers over the air, with everyone expected to be upgraded to Android 2.1 before next week.

If you can’t wait any longer though, we have a step-by-step guide for you to follow, which takes around three minutes if you know what you are doing.
