Motorola Droid Tablet with Android OS 3.0 (Gingerbread)

Who would have thought that Motorola would be able to take its place amongst the best selling cell phones again? Well this was only made possibly thanks to the Droid smartphone range. The original Droid is still the best selling Android handset, but with the Droid X and 2, this title could go to one of them.

There have been rumors that we could see a Motorola tablet, and we have to wonder if it will be part of the Droid Does range? Latest rumors suggest that the device will come with a 10-inch display and will run on Android OS 3.0 (Gingerbread). Desire Athow from ITProPortal believes that if this is true then it will become a serious competitor for the Apple iPad.

It has been suggested that the tablet will be released at the end of the year, which does make sense as we know that other manufactures has already started on their Android tablets. Motorola is in a constant battle with HTC, and we know that they have expressed an interest.

We know that Apple already has a head start, and Motorola will have to think about what hardware they use, as an iPad 2 will become available shortly after the rumored Moto tablet device. They will need a processor to pack more than 1GHz as well as 512MB of RAM.

Do you think we will every see a Motorola Tablet?
