Motorola Droid 2: New Release Date and Verizon User Manual

You have to wonder when Motorola and Verizon will finally announce the upcoming Motorola Droid 2 handset. We have some more details for you now, as the official user manual for the device has been obtained.

As reported from BGR, the user manual has come to us courtesy of Droid-Life and reveals that the Droid 2 will come equipped with User Interface enhancements, as seen in the Droid X – another handset on Verizon.

Furthermore, BGR states that August 3rd is looking like a possible release date for the handset, so you might want to take a note of that date for future reference.

Unlike the Droid X, the Droid 2 is strongly tipped to come with Android 2.2 Froyo, so that should serve as one incentive for consumers looking for a new handset.

Check out the manual over at BGR.
