Motorola Atrix UK release date confirmed

Last month we told you that customers on Orange would only have to wait until the beginning of May to get their hands on Motorola Atrix. Today we can tell you that the Motorola Atrix UK release date has been confirmed.

Orange has announced the impressive looking handset will be available from tomorrow via its online and retail stores. To recap the handset has a 1GHz dual-core processor and has 1GB of RAM. The device has a 4-inch display and you can expand the memory from 16GB to 48GB with a microSD card.

The handset is being sold tomorrow exclusively from Orange, and is the first smartphone to feature a built in biometric fingerprint reader. This allows the device to be unlocked by the user with a quick swipe of the finger, so only they can view the phones content.

The Motorola Atrix is available free of charge to Orange customers who sign up to a two year contract costing £35 per month. Included in the contract for customers are 600 minutes, unlimited texts, 750 MB of data allowance, unlimited Wi-Fi, and 50 MMS. Head over to the Orange website for more details.
