Motorola’s Atrix handset has many people looking forward to its release, as the handset has some impressive looking specifications. Today we can tell you the smartphone has just received its UK release date and price.
Chris Martin from the Inquirer is reporting that consumers in the UK on Orange will only have to wait until early May, before they can get their hands on the device. The handset is pretty high-spec so as you can imagine prices are at the top end of the scale.
You will be able to get the new Motorola smartphone free on a two year contract costing £35 per month. For this you not only get a free handset as there is 600 minutes, 750MB of data, unlimited texts, and 50 MMS. If you want to reserve one you can contact Orange telesales or visit one of their retail outlets.
The Atrix has a 1GHz dual core processor with 1GB of RAM. It also has a 4-inch display and 16GB of internal storage which you can expand up to 48GB via microSD. Owners will also have the option of purchasing the Work and Play Kit. This has a remote control, keyboard, mouse, and HD Multimedia Dock.
This is priced at £49.99 instead of the RRP of £129.99, and if you upgrade to the handset during May Orange will give it away free. With this you get three USB ports and a mini HDMI output, this will allow owners to use their phone as a PC or a multimedia hub.
