Moto X vs. Droid Ultra in Motorola square off

As two of Motorola’s latest smartphones go head-to-head in a comparison we can see both products have many differences as far as the exterior is concerned, but we are looking to see whether there are any defining internal features that set the two apart as we check a visual comparison. Below the post we have provided a Moto X vs. Droid Ultra video courtesy of pocketnowvideo and this gives us an informative view of both smartphones, which is ideal for potential consumers.

The video below lasts around nine minutes and highlights some of the minor differences between the two, as we take a look at the more widely available Moto X up against the Verizon-specific Droid Ultra.

After watching the video we got the impression that many viewers prefer the Moto X more regarding it as a better looking device compared to the Droid Ultra, while the presenter mentions how the overall look of the Droid Ultra is similar in style to Samsung’s handsets.

As he runs through many of the minor differences like the Droid Ultra being slightly bigger, yet they both share similar specs, although they vary when it comes to the Moto X being available in either 16 or 32 Gigabyte models, while the Droid Ultra is confined to only 16.

The Moto X has the slight advantage as far as pixel density is concerned, and both have unique features as far as software is concerned which the presenter finds odd, considering they are both quite similar. Overall he feels the size Droid Ultra is better, but also prefers the design and build of the Moto X.

Highlighting the software on the Moto X as more practical, he also feels the speaker and the camera on the Droid Ultra is superior, although when it comes to picking a winner the Moto X comes out on top, but only by a slight margin.

For those of you more interested by the Moto X our previous post looked at the Moto X vs. the Nexus 4 and Galaxy S4 and discusses specs. In addition, we have also provided links to both the official Moto X website and the official Droid Ultra page.

From the information available which of these two products excites you the most? Does the Moto X seem more appealing than the Droid Ultra?
