There is growing frustration at the moment among Moto G5 Plus owners, who are unhappy with the length of time it is taking for Motorola to deliver on the promised Moto G5 Plus Oreo update.
The Moto G5 Plus launched exactly one year ago in April 2017 and to this date many users are still stuck with Android 7.0 Nougat.
The official word from Motorola is that they are working on the update and will roll it out as soon as possible, although still not willing to give an exact timeframe for users.
Most of frustration has come from users in India who want to know the release date for the Moto G5 Plus and G5S Oreo update – as you can see from Twitter here.
To check to see when the update is finally available in your country, we recommend you bookmark the official support page here for the Moto G5 Plus, to check if Motorola will update their listing with a release date in the coming weeks.
Do you agree that it is getting beyond a joke now having waited over a year for the promised Oreo update to arrive? If you are a Moto G5 Plus user reading this, give us your thoughts in the comments section below.
