Most expensive restaurants, rate them with iOS app

How many times have you been to some of the most expensive restaurants, only to feel a little disappointed? Most of us feel more comfortable eating at a much cheaper place, as the atmosphere feels less stuffy and there is more on the menu that appeals to your palate. We have found a great iPhone app that will allow you to rate these restaurants, much better to get a patrons perspective than a food critic.

The app in question is called Restaurant Rater and is currently only available in Australia, but there is hope that it will be extended to other parts of the world, such as the U.S. and the UK. This app is unique in the way that you can search out a restaurant in your area, check out it’s rating and then even add your own views once you have eaten there.

Your review will not be entered on the app automatically, the team behind Restaurant Rater will have a read and if they believe that it is up to scratch then they will include it in the app. Some of you may be unhappy with this, but checks have to be made, as they do not want any unwanted words appearing. We all know how passionate those Australian’s can be – which is what we love about them.

Having said that, you can still rate the restaurant instantly via the app while you are eating. Just try to be discreet, as you do not want the staff seeing any negative comments and adding something a little extra into your food — joke.

The app is just the first part of this service, as the Restaurant Rater website will soon go live. The two services working side-by-side could mean that you never have to have a bad meal again. For those of you who are on a diet, then you will need to keep a close eye on what you eat; check out some of these calorie counting apps.
