Each year we look forward to new car models and this year is no different, and it is for this very reason why we wish to look at some of the most anticipated new cars for 2014, although some of them will be classed as 2015 models.
There are some exciting cars about to launch this year, some of which from the likes of BMW, Jaguar and Lexus, although there are far too many for us to list. However, we can have a look at a few of those that appeal to us the most.
There are two new cars in May 2014 that need a mention, and those are the Lexus NX and the Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake. The NX looks different to the concept model, as its front-end is less imposing now the production model is upon us. A video of the Lexus NX can be seen below.
As for the Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake, this is a sports saloon that has ample of good looks and power to match. If there was ever a British car to rival the BMW M5, then this would be it, and the second video aims to prove just that.
If we were to pick two models for June and July, then they would have to be the BMW i8 and the 4-Series. The former of these two models has been on the cards for such a long time now, so will finally be nice to see it on our roads, although not sure how many of them there will be considering its price. There is also the BWM 4-Series, which has to be one of the better-looking models in years. It is great to see BMW rebranding the model because it not only makes them easier to market, but can now make several design changes to each model much easier.
August and September will see the release of the BMW M4 and the Volkswagen e-Golf. Both these models are very different because while one aims to improve fuel-efficiency over a model, the other aims to show you what is possible by making a certain model even faster and more stylish than before.
Other models to look out for in 2014 are the Fiat 500 Abarth 595 Competizione, BMW 3-series plug-in hybrid, Mercedes GLA45 AMG, and the Lamborghini — Huracán, although that is out of most peoples league.
Remember, these models represent just a few of the new cars for 2014, these are just what we have high hopes for.
