Mortal Kombat X PS4 Vs Xbox One exclusive characters

Mortal Kombat X is shaping up to be the only next-gen fighter to own in 2015 and with the confirmation that Mortal Kombat X guest characters are coming, things are starting to look very exciting indeed both for PS4 and Xbox One users.

Ed Boon has already revealed at GamesCom 2014 that guest characters are on the way and given how successful they were in Mortal Kombat 9, it would be a stupid move not to bring in other characters.

They are a massive hit with fans, but this time Xbox owners in particular will be looking for better treatment from NetherRealm Studios after they gave PS3 users exclusive access to Kratos.

With Mortal Kombat X, the potential is obviously huge and there’s still some Xbox-specific characters that could fit the bill as a guest character – notably Marcus from Gears of War or even better, Fulgore from Killer Instinct now that Rare has set up camp at Microsoft.

We can also see huge demand still to put Alien and Predator in Mortal Kombat X and imagine the reaction from fans if we see one exclusive to PlayStation and one exclusive to Xbox One – we would have to choose Predator though over Alien every time!

Don’t forget that Ed Boon has also confirmed that one fatality type from previous games will be returning to MKX, while we previously guessed that this would turn out to be either Animalities or Brutalitiescan you imagine Fulgore hitting a Brutality, or ‘Ultra’ on another MK character?

Watch the excellent video that we have picked out for you below and let us know your ideas so far on Mortal Kombat X. Are you happy to have guest characters in the new game as long as it’s fair? You just know that some will end up as pre-order exclusives, but will there be actual platform exclusive characters again?
