Mortal Kombat X character expectations

We have just hours to go until we see new Mortal Kombat X characters announced at E3 2014. There is massive anticipation in the air as we look to see the first Mortal Kombat X gameplay at E3 but the main topic at the moment is what new characters NetherRealm Studios are planning to bring to the series.

As far as we’re aware, the Mortal Kombat X E3 gameplay will show two brand new characters for the game – as in completely new characters that have never been seen before, not returning characters.

We already know that Sub-Zero and Scorpion are coming and they will obviously be joined by many other familiar faces. The fact that Mortal Kombat X is now on next-gen hardware, there is no excuses for a small roster and we would expect to see every single fighter from Mortal Kombat trilogy – plus DLC characters and of course the new ones which we will see at E3.

Fans have already started to guess on who they want to see, most of which are Mortal Kombat X guest characters which are a continuation of the theme carried over from Mortal Kombat 9.

Most will agree that Kratos and Freddy Krueger were brilliant additions to the series and it is really exciting to think who NetherRealm may be able to add into the Mortal Kombat 10 roster list.

Dare we say characters like Predator, Jason, Hellboy, Michael Myers and Spawn are all up for a chance of being included? As you can see from the image above, Mortal Kombat X is going to be a big part of E3 2014 so the whole world is waiting to see ‘who’s next?’ it seems.

If you are a massive Mortal Kombat fan, let us know what Mortal Kombat 10 characters you want to see. If you could pick the two new characters shown at E3, tell us who and why.
