Mortal Kombat: UK Release Date for PS3, Xbox 360

We have some excellent news for those of you planning to pick up the impressive-looking Mortal Kombat reboot this year, as developers Warner Bros have just confirmed a solid release date for gamers in the UK.

As reported from VG247, you’ll be pleased to hear that the game will be available to buy in the UK on April 18th, which actually falls on a Monday, or ‘Mortal Monday’ according to NetherRealm studios.

You won’t need us to tell you that game releases in the UK usually occur on a Friday, so being able to pick up this game at the start of the week is definitely an extra bonus – no word on a release date for the rest of Europe or US gamers yet.

The game will be available to buy from midnight on Monday, so we’re sure there will be some special midnight launches occuring at some retailers such as GAME and GameStation, we’ll keep you informed on this.

To accompany the game’s UK release date, NetherRealm Studios have also released another of their character bio videos, this latest one focuses on Mileena, Kitanas demented sister. Check it out below.
