News regarding NetherRealm Studio’s much-anticipated Mortal Kombat game appears to be coming in thick and fast at the moment. Earlier on today we announced the inclusion of the new “Challenge Tower” mode, and now we are hearing reports of a PlayStation 3 demo on its way.
According to Tom Orry over on the videogamer.com website, the PS3 demo of NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment’s upcoming fighting game will be arriving on the PlayStation Network on March 15th. However, PlayStation Plus subscribers will get it a little earlier on March 8th.
Although Warner Bros announced that a demo would be released on Xbox Live, they didn’t give a specific date. The demo provides gamers with a total of four fighters — Mileena, Johnny Cage, Scorpion and Sub-Zero — and two environments to fight in, Pit and the Living Forest.
Gamers can either play in the arcade ladder alone, or choose to go against a friend. The Mortal Kombat game — which as we previously mentioned has been refused classification in Australia — will be arriving in stores on April 21st, and will be available for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
Will you be trying out the Mortal Kombat game before you decide to buy it, or are your minds made up already?
