Mortal Kombat: HD Kollection – More Release Date Hints on Xbox 360, PS3

It seems very unlikely that a Mortal Kombat: HD Kollection game ISNT going to happen now, after another listing for the unannounced game has appeared in a listing from US retailers GameStop.

As reported from VG247, the listing was quickly removed by GameStop, but that didn’t stop VG247 from obtaining the juicy details for us.

Presuming the information was correct (as they usually are when removed), the MK HD Kollection will be available on the PS3 on November 16th – which just so happens to fall on ‘release date Tuesday’ too!

They also listed a $39.99 price tag, meaning that the game is almost certain to just consist of HD remakes of classic games. Nobody knows that the package will consist of yet, but you can bet that MK fans are praying for HD remakes of Mortal Kombat 1,2 and 3.

If they did that and included a decent online multiplayer unlike the crappy Mortal Kombat 2 on PSN, then consider it a day one purchase for most of you.

Let us know your thoughts on this. What are your ideas for the HD Kollection?
