Mortal Kombat 9 (2011): New Trailer Focuses on Scorpion

We have a treat for Mortal Kombat fans now, as Warner Bros has just released a brand new trailer for Mortal Kombat 9, the upcoming game due out on the Xbox 360 and PS3 next year.

As reported from VG247, the trailer doesnt show any gameplay unlike the previous videos from E3, but this one does seem to show some opening cutscenes from the game – it looks great nevertheless.

Not usually shy to show off some brutal moves and fatalities, this trailer is called the ‘shadow’ trailer, and gives us a look at some of the game’s characters performing moves whilst being shown as a silhouette in the background.

We recently had a collection of new fighters that were added to the growing character list, but I’m still waiting for a few of my favorites, like Ermac and Kabal.
