Mortal Kombat 2011: Shang Tsung Moves Trailer for PS3, Xbox 360

Yesterday we informed you about the upcoming Mortal Kombat ‘Legacy’ web series, also known as Rebirth which is coming out soon, but now we have another character trailer for Mortal Kombat the game to show you, this time it focuses on Shang Tsung.

The trailer shows off some of his move lists and also what kind of appearance he will have for the new game. He definitely looks a lot older than his Mortal Kombat Trilogy appearance, maybe he hasn’t been devouring enough souls in his exile.

We also see his morphing ability make a return for the new game, as we can see that he takes on the appearance of Johnny Cage in a rather cool animation. Towards the end of the trailer, it looks like one of his fatalities causes the opponent to rip their own head off – which is certainly something we haven’t seen from the Shang yet.

Just to recap, the game is out on April 19th on PS3 and Xbox 360. The Mortal Kombat web series is out a week earlier, hitting Machinima’s YouTube channel on April 12, so don’t miss that either. Let us know what character you’ll be using for Mortal Kombat, we’re hoping that NetherRealm release a trailer for Kabal soon – he was always a cult favorite of mine.
