Mortal Kombat 2011: Rebirth Movie – Web Series Release Date and Time

Remember that awesome Mortal Kombat Rebirth trailer that surfaced online all those months ago? Well we have some great news for you now, as we have a release date for when the first episode of the project will go live, and you won’t have to wait long.

For those of you who still don’t know, the Rebirth trailer didn’t result in a fully fledged movie, but instead it was converted into a web-series which will air online for free. We can tell you, that the first episode will go live on April 12th, which is a full week before the Mortal Kombat game releases on April 19th, as reported from VG247.

You’ll be able to watch the first episode via Machinima at 4pm PST on April 12th on their channel, according to Hadoken. However, if you tune in four hours earlier, you can watch some exclusive gameplay footage from Mortal Kombat, gameplay which is being played by the director and actors from the web series! – You probably won’t want to miss that since it is likely to contain gameplay which you haven’t seen before – like new characters, stages, fatalities and so on.

Will you be tuning in to watch the Mortal Kombat web series next week?

maybe the idea was to create an entirely different world and they are doing pretty good with this so unless YOU have any skills in the media business and are able to edit or add-on to the franchise dont talk shit @rhys maybe its the same story just updated… if you saw the preview/short YOU CAN SEE IN THE BEGINING IT SAYS "YEAR: 2010"
