Mortal Kombat 10 release disappointment if don’t deliver

The teases towards a Mortal Kombat 10 release have reached a point of no return and if you’re going take things this far Ed Boon, then you better deliver the game on June 2 when your countdown ends right before E3. We touched on the choice between MK10 and Injustice 2, but a recent Tweet by the Creative Director at NetherRealm Studios took things to another level.

You can see the tweet we’re talking about below, and in a nutshell the Co-Creator of Mortal Kombat asked what the “X” stands for on the back of a car. This is pretty obvious, but it’s meant to be easy to answer.

If the above tweet is not Mortal Kombat 10 being confirmed, then what are we really waiting for considering Boon just told us a hint towards MK10. If NetherRealm Studios don’t deliver on these hints, then their Creative Director is misleading gamers and will certainly upset a lot of them.

What Mortal Kombat 10 characters do you want to see feature in the new game? In a nutshell, Mortal Kombat 10 details will arrive just before E3 2014 and we can count on a look at the characters as well.

We hope to see the game release on both PS4 and Xbox One, although previous generation consoles will hope for a release as well but that will depend on how much focus the developers put on next-gen hardware.

Update: It is worth pointing out another tweet below that reveals just how Ed Boon is playing with people’s minds, although some will say “if he don’t deliver, then he has no credibility”. What do you think?
