The iPhone 6 has now been on the market for almost four months, and in that time we have seen people extending its battery life with a range of battery cases. However, one brand has been MIA, and that is Mophie and its Juice Pack range that is until now.
Some people have not been able to wait and have gone for alternatives, such as Incipio’s offGRID Express backup battery case. It’s great to see how these two compare, seeing as though the former costs $99.99, which you can pre-order here, and the latter $79.99. It is worth noting that Incipio’s model is the cheapest of its kind that Apple authorizes.
In one corner we have the much-anticipated Juice Pack with its 2750mAh capacity, offering more than 100 percent of iPhone 6 battery life. Its design is lightweight and made to be used every day.
There are three color options, black, gold and white and offers a good amount of protection thanks to its durable outer cover and rubberized support pads to help protect the phone itself.
We already know the upside with the offGRID Express Backup Battery case, and that is its $20 cheaper price tag, although the 3000mAh of power is also another tick. However, with only the one color option, black and lacking a durable, tough design, choosing between the two is like six of one and half a dozen of the other.
