Modern Warfare 3: List of new game modes include Gun Game

We have some important and exciting news for those of you who are still enjoying Gun Game mode in Call of Duty Black Ops. Fresh details on the game has just revealed the type of private game modes available in Modern Warfare 3, and we can confirm that Gun Game will be featured in MW3.

Gun Game has become a cult favorite with fans since its appearance in Black Ops, and it seems Infinity Ward want to maintain this following with their new Modern Warfare 3 game. While there won’t be any wager mode type of gameplay in MW3, Gun Game will still be available, as players just look to duke it out and aim to be the top player in the game after going through all the available weapons.

We can also confirm that another game mode from Black Ops wager match has also made its way into Modern Warfare 3. Fans of One in the Chamber will be delighted to hear that this mode is also playable in Modern Warfare 3, along with a whole list of brand new game modes for MW3.

There are four other new private game match modes available and here they are as taken from Blog4MW3:

Infection — The infected kills enemies to recruit them for the infected team.
Drop Zone — Hold the Drop Zone for Team Points and Care Packages.
Team Juggernaut — With the support of a juggernaut, kill players on the opposing team. The first team to reach the score limit wins.
Juggernaut — Kill the Juggernaut to become the new Juggernaut

Infection looks particularly interesting, but we have a feeling that the new Juggernaut modes will become very popular with players after release. We’ve seen this Juggernaut player in action in a previous gameplay clip and it looks like great fun as the rest of the team try to protect him, while the opposing team try to take him out.

We’ll be bringing you more details on the new game modes soon, hopefully some Gun Game footage as well. What are your thoughts on Gun Game being available in Modern Warfare 3 – is it one of your favorite modes? Click here for golden gun evidence if you are yet to see it.
