Modern Warfare 3: Graphics improvement shown in Redemption trailer

Yesterday we informed you that a brand new Modern Warfare 3 trailer would be aired at half time during the football match between England and Montenegro. If you missed it, don’t worry as Activision and Infinity Ward has just released the trailer for the world to see.

It is called ‘Redemption’ and it offers some new footage from the game that previously hasn’t been seen before. The trailer focuses on the single-player aspect of the game and if you didnt have an idea of how good the graphics are looking in Modern Warfare 3, then you should definitely check out their latest offering for a example of how far the game has come since Modern Warfare 2.

Although a lot of fuss has been made on how Modern Warfare 3 uses the same engine as MW2, the graphics are significantly better this time around, and it gives an idea of a previous quote from Infinity Ward’s Robert Bowling that the engine has been updated to an extent to improve on graphics quality for the new game.

The big date for release is November 8th of course, almost two weeks after EA release their own effort with Battlefield 3. Now that single-player has been blown open, it adds the final piece to the puzzle since we’ve already seen what co-op mode looks like via Survival, and of course multiplayer which has been revealed as well.

How pumped up are you about Modern Warfare 3? Do you think it will be a solid follow-up to MW2, or do you have doubts this time that it is just the same old ‘recycled formula’ that has often been a criticism of the franchise in the past. You can view the trailer in full below.

On a side note, don’t forget to check out Sony’s new PlayStation trailer, which features Ghost from the Modern Warfare games – It is pretty amazing to say the least.
