Modern Warfare 3: Full list of Multiplayer maps – DLC map pack theories

We recently gave you full details of what to expect from the Call of Duty Elite stats-based service and how much it would cost, but now we have something arguably more exciting to share with you now – a full list of multiplayer maps that will be contained in Modern Warfare 3 when it releases this November.

We previously informed you about a partial list of Modern Warfare 3 maps in our previous report here, but further intel gathered from the Call of Duty XP event has revealed even more details about the number of maps featured in the game.

A total of twenty maps have been revealed now, but we as far as we know not all twenty maps will be playable straight away as it looks like Infinity Ward are keeping some of them back as DLC later on after release. Whether or not some of these maps turn out to be some of the free DLC that Activision are dishing out for Elite subscribers remains to be seen, but we hope that’s the case as it would be pretty frustrating for fans to see a map list of 20 released prior to the game coming out, only to have a small batch of them available.

You may have already seen Carbon and Dome thanks to multiplayer footage and various previews of the game that have been released along the way, but you probably haven’t seen the full list yet. Check it out below for your reference, and let us know which one you are most looking forward to playing.

1. Alpha
2. Alps
3. Bootleg
4. Bravo
5. Brooklyn
6. Carbon
7. Coast
8. Dome
9. Exchange
10. Hardhat
11. Interchange
12. Lambeth
13. Meteora
14. Mogadishu
15. Paris
16. Plaza 2
17. Radar
18. Seatown
19. Underground
20. Village

The question we should be asking is how many of these maps are going to be included on the MW3 disc, and how many are going to be kept back for the release of the first map pack for the game. These are obviously not new tactics from Infinity Ward here, so it shouldn’t be too much of a surprise to you. Give us your thoughts on the list.
