Modern Warfare 2 vs. Killzone 2: Best FPS of 2009

Last year is one that we would rather forget, as it was the year when the world recession truly kicked in. However, there were a few glorious moments in 2009, such as the release of Killzone 2 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, but what one of these FPS is the best?

It is hard to choose between the two as they offer the user different things, but we can say that these are the best of the best. Both games have their good and bad points, but there has to be a reason why Modern Warfare 2 is now the best selling game ever.

We are not trying to take anything away from Killzone, as this is a great game. Some may say that Killzone has to delivered much better graphics, whereas CoD: Modern Warfare 2 offers better gameplay, making it much more fun for the user.

Guerilla games had shown us a couple of years before release that Killzone 2 was going to look good, we just did not think they would make it look as good as it does. The game does have its problems though, it is nice that you do not have to install the game, but this causes freezing problems when moving to other areas of the game.

Modern Warfare 2 is much better than its previous incarnations, there is much more color in this game compared to Killzone 2, so makes gameplay that much easier. The graphics are a huge letdown in the game though, but when you are playing with a bunch of people online you do not have time to look at it in too much detail.
