Modern Warfare 2 Top of PS3 Chart: Sees off Army Of Two

Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 still remains the number one selling PS3 game; it came under fire from Army Of Two: The 40th Day, but the CoD title showed it who was boss. Digital Spy reports that in third place is Darksiders from THQ, with Assassin’s Creed II in the number for spot.

Modern Warfare 2 has now passed the $1 billion mark in sales, which we spoke about in a recent post. There does not seem to be an end as to how popular this game is, but there are still those who do not care for the game, the question is, are you one of them?

Since the game launched it has stayed in the top spot, well except for a minor outing to number 2 when Assassin’s Creed II was released, which you can read more about here. However, the game only held the top spot for one week.

From the moment that Modern Warfare 2 was released the game has had its fair share of problems. The first was where users could not gain access to online multiplayer, and then there was that whole problem with the airport scene.

The latest trouble to hit the top selling game is that a patch has now been released to fix some of its major problems. It is said that 6 problems has now been fixed get all the details here.
