Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus – iOS Game Receives an Update

If you own an Apple iOS device and you’ve previously downloaded the Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus game, I think we have some interesting news for you. Gameloft has just announced that its present day first-person shooter game has recently received an update.

As Richard Meads over on the website recently reported, the new update adds three brand new maps to the iOS game’s multiplayer mode. This includes a South American shanty town, an Eastern European battlefield and a bunker.

Players also receive 10 free multiplayer XP levels when they download the new update, which is available to purchase from the Apple App Store for $1.99 / £1.19 / €1.59. You can view several images of the new maps over on the website.

The Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus game has become one of the most critically acclaimed first-person shooters on the Apple iPhone, and has even received a Gold Award from Pocket Gamer’s Tracy Erickson upon review. The update also contains a few bug fixes.

Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus comes with 15 upgradable weapons and four different multiplayer modes, including Battle, Defuse the Bomb, Capture the Flag and Team Battle. You can learn more about the game via the website.
