Mob of the Dead Zombies jump scare Easter Egg

We have another Black Ops 2 Mob of the Dead zombies easter egg to tell you about now, and this one is rather special. Treyarch has again shown their humorous side of developing, by including an easter egg that aims to scare the living daylights out of you whilst you search for clues regarding the main easter egg in the new map.

We have to admit, it is probably the funniest easter egg we have seen for Black Ops 2 zombies – and there has been a lot. As most of you are well aware, completing the main easter egg requires a lot of searching, patience and good coordination with your three other team mates.

Because of this, you’ll often find yourself searching every nook and cranny for potential clues and Treyarch has taken it upon themselves to insert a cracking easter egg. On the rooftop with the buildable plane, simply take a sniper rifle and zoom into the sky where you see fireworks going off.

When doing this, you’ll get the shock of your life with the infamous ‘jump scare’ animation, which should have caught you off guard in a big way if you just stumbled across this randomly. Some of the online reactions from zombie players have been hilarious, while we’ve included one of them above for you to check out.

Did you find this yourself when searching for Easter Egg clues? If so, what was your honest reaction? It isn’t as much fun by reading the steps to do it, so hopefully a lot of you just stumbled on it whilst looking for the blue skulls. Well done to Treyarch for putting this in the game – mission accomplished we’d say.

Watch the clip above and let us know what your initial reaction was.
