MLB 14 The Show PS4 Vs PS3 graphics

If you are a big baseball fan and are looking forward to the highly anticipated MLB 14 The Show PS4 release date, we have some excellent news for you. Screenshots are now going live online, showing an early MLB 14 The Show PS4 Vs PS3 graphics comparison.

With the game now on the horizon, Sony has been a lot more generous in releasing information for the game. We can tell you that the PS4 version will be out this May, while you’ll be able to pick up the PS3 and PS Vita versions of the game earlier on April 1.

Even better, we can also confirm that the MLB 14 The Show resolution on PS4 will be locked in at 1080p and 60FPS. That means that just like NBA 2K14, you can expect to see some stunning visuals compared to previous gen and now we bring you an early example of this.

Below is a graphics comparison which has been uploaded courtesy of Steve Noah. It shows the facial features of Boston Red Sox player Mike Napoli in a PS4 and PS3 side by side analysis.

The differences are self explanatory as you can see, just take a look at the quality of that beard above anything. That beard is almost coming to life, while the lighting and shadow effects from the player’s cap is clearly noticeable too – and looks great.

While some of you may be happy to pick up the game on PS3, we highly recommend that you go for the PS4 version if you want to enjoy the best graphics and another PS4 game that will be running at the pleasing 1080p, 60FPS limit.

Let us know what you think of the PS4 graphics quality as seen in the image above. Will you be picking up the game in May or not?
