Minecraft PE 0.11.0 features surprise

We have some more great Minecraft PE 0.11.0 news to bring you now, as we countdown towards Mojang’s next major update to the mobile version of the game. We now have a surprise to share, with regards to some of the new Minecraft PE 0.11.0 features that Mojang will introduce.

We have already told you that Skins will finally be coming to PE 0.11.0, but it looks like we have confirmation that squids are going to inhabit the seas of Minecraft as well.

As far as we’re aware, this hasn’t been officially unveiled by Mojang, but a recent screenshot from 0.11.0 looks to have spilled the beans inadvertently.

Check out the image above which shows that in Minecraft PE 0.11.0, there will be Cave Spiders which have the ability to poison players who are not careful.

However, take a closer look at the water in the same image and it definitely looks like squid or jellyfish floating in the water, which is very exciting.

We can already see that many of you are getting excited about this on social media, so hopefully Mojang will be able to give us a proper look soon. Are the squids there purely to make the waters look prettier in 0.11.0, or will they actually be harmful to players?

Let us know your thoughts on this – are you excited to see squids as a new Minecraft PE 0.11.0 feature?
