The Minecraft 1.07 update is now live on PS3 and this happened within the last hour. This might be a small update, but it adds a new feature to allow gamers to transfer their game saves from PS3 to PS4, which we know a lot of you were waiting for.
This news had also been confirmed on the official 4J Studios Twitter page, as seen in the tweet below. This basically explains that the Minecraft 1.07 PS3 update will allow you to move a “save transfer of PS3 worlds” to the new PlayStation 4 console.

One of the Product Reviews team has given this a try already after installing the Minecraft 1.07 update and said, “I’ve been able to upload two maps already, it seems to work without any problems so far”.
