Microsoft Surface event: Live blog stream roundup

In less than two hours time we might see a new Surface device, such as a Surface mini or Pro 3 tablet, although that is just speculation at this time. However, we do know that there is a small Microsoft Surface Event planned in New York, and the times of this event are 8 am PT, 11 am ET, and 4 pm BST.

Seeing as though some of you are intrigued to know just what Microsoft has planned there are a number of live blog streams of the Surface event, as well as a live webcast from Microsoft. It is great to get coverage of the event direct from the horse’s mouth so to speak, but it is nice to get an idea of what some of the top blogs think, especially CNET, as they do seem to offer concise yet funny commentary.

Microsoft Surface event live blog stream coverage roundup — We have to mention CNET first and already have a countdown running to the event, along with the question “Best bets are for the unveiling of a Surface Mini tablet, along with a possible Surface Pro 3.”

Engadget will also be on hand to offer their unique perspective as to what Microsoft will be discussing soon. Their coverage is not as fun as CNET’s, but it is nice to be serious once in a while.

PC Advisor is to offer live coverage of the entire event, and we hope they allow their visitors to interact with the coverage, as this will give us a good idea of what consumers think of the new products, if there are new products.

Last but not least there is WinBeta, who is to also offer live coverage of the small Surface event. You are asked to leave comments below to let them know your thoughts during the event.

We still have no idea what Microsoft has planned, but if they were to launch new products, we are not certain if it will be today because the Microsoft Store is still up, unlike Apple, which closes their Store before an event. Having said that, we can’t see we have ever looked to see if the Microsoft Store goes down before an event.
