Microsoft Office for Mac 2011: Price and Release Date Confirmed

We have some good news for Mac owners now, as Microsoft has just announced a release date for the Mac version of Microsoft Office 2011. You’ll be pleased to know that it will be available to buy at the end of next month.

As reported from BGR, the official shipping date for the popular software is Tuesday October 26th. Office for Mac 2011 is looking like the best version by far according to critics, and will come with improved versions of your favorite Word, Excel and Powerpoint software.

BGR speficially mention Outlook 2011 and Exchange integration as the big improvements in the new version. The tech site had the chance to preview the upcoming software a few months ago, you can read their full preview here if you missed it.

You can pre-order all the various editions of Office for Mac 2011 online at Amazon. The standard Home and Student edition is priced at $119, while the business version will set you back $199. You can also pre-order individual versions of Word, Excel and Powerpoint if you prefer.
