Microsoft Kinect: Now Official, Shown on Xbox.com

Earlier today we revealed that a lot of rumors were suggesting that Microsoft would call their upcoming motion control system Kinect, we can now confirm that this will definitely be the name for what was formally known as Project Natal, prior to this VG247 reported that it was confirmed, however it is best to hear it “straight from the horse’s mouth”

If you head over to Xbox.com you will see Kinect on their homepage, if you click on find out more (here) you are taken to the Xbox’s E3 2010 pages, here they say that their controller-free gaming and entertainment device is called Kinect for Xbox 360.

Throughout E3 2010 we should find out more and more about Kinect, we already know that four-way video chat will be offered, also we are reliably informed that multiple Konect-compliant games will launch during 2010.
