Micromax’s Yu Yureka is to go on sale from the 13th of January in India at 2 pm local time, although there are pre-release stock woes since registrations for the handset had to be halted on December 24th. The company has yet to tell us how many pre-orders they received, although they do say it was a considerable amount.
One of the reasons we feel as though Micromax could struggle with having enough stock to fulfill orders is the fact that registrations for the Yu Yureka was meant to go on until Christmas Day, but had to be stopped a day beforehand. For the company to shut this down a day before shows how worried they were.
The Micromax Yu Yureka price in India is Rs 8999 and is an Amazon.in exclusive, and even though you pre-registered your interest that does not guarantee you will get one of these sought after smartphones.
If you were able to pre-register you are still being asked to log into your Amazon account several minutes before sales start, as the Yu Yureka is on a first come, first serve basis until stock lasts.
It is that final bit that is a worry, as it shows there is limited stock of the handset and that several of you could leave empty handed. Are you fearful that Micromax does not have enough stock to fulfill Yu Yureka orders?
